Its taken a while. Found the flattest, largest crisp in the pack, dampened the edges into a rough heart shape, let it soak a little, and peel away the damp crisp. Finish off the brittle edges with a fine emery board to the perfect shape.

Crisps don't travel well. Dave and I spend many happy hours jig sawing broken crisp bits trying to make heart shapes. :-)

If you are really struggling with this method, cut a slice of raw potatoe, shape into a heart with a knife (easy) shallow fry for a few seconds in hot oil. Do several and pick the best one. :0))))
You can be sure Walkers know exactly which packs the special crisps are in
Oh don't spoil the fun, Barry. It's keeping Dave occupied and quiet for hours. ;-)
Nicebloke/ Reading the rules for the competition, Walkers state it is not unusual to find a heart-shaped crisp owing to the shape of British potatoes. Walkers will decide on the winning crisp based on how straight the two sloping sides are and the symmetry of the two curves.
The best one will win so obviously they are distributed in a fair number of packets.

Keep on sawing Dave!
