Ofgem has cut the amount energy suppliers can charge, but bills will still go up. Go figure.

Because we will no longer get the £400 that every household has received from the government
Given up worrying about it now, simply because you have no control on what they do or, what happens.

Analysts at Cornwall Insight think the energy price cap will fall to £2,153 in July, and remain close to that level for the rest of the year.

That would make the government's energy price guarantee of £3,000 from April redundant. Worldwide energy prices are falling, and the government needs to prevent any increase in what consumers have to pay.
Hope they are right gg, in the mean time the only control we have is to, switch on or, switch off.
Aren't wholesale gas prices falling now and if so when will that filter down to customers and how far will they drop?
I doubt it will come down that much dave, regardless of falling prices. The reason being is that for a few years now we have been getting energy to cheap, hence why some suppliers have gone bust. All the falling prices will do is that government won't have to keep bailing us out. Well that's my take on it anyhow.
