Twice recent!y I have received a call from a friend on my Samsung Galaxy A13. After the call is finished I can still hear sounds from his phone. When I look at "Recent Calls" the call does not appear. The only way I have to cut off the caller is to power off my phone and re-boot.
Can any one identify the problem and suggest a solution?

Are they calling from a landline? This sounds like a "Called Subscriber Held" (CSH) problem. If the caller doesn't hang up, then the called party remains connected. There is a time-out which will force the system to drop the call eventually. I suspect that, if you simply waited for the length of time it takes you to reboot your phone, the call would terminate anyway. The reason the call doesn't appear in Recent Calls, is that the record of the call is only made at termination.

I haven't been able to contact my friend today to find whether he ca!led from mobile or land line. Thanks for the explanation that "Recent Calls" updates only when the call terminates, that's one part of the problem resolved.
