Where To Put The Calgon Liquid?.

Normally i use Calgon limescale tablets in my washing machine but this time i had to buy the liquid. Do i put the liquid on top of the soap in the tray or on the washing in the main drum?. Thanks.

i thought you cleaned it when the machine is empty, not when there's washing in it.

Misunderstanding here I believe.
The Winner thinks you're using a machine cleaner, rather than the water softening treatment.
(incidentally, Calgon is a very overpriced product...supermarkets -and Wilko- do own-brand product at a fraction of the price).
