I don't know about anyone else but I've personally found today's Herculis a little more difficult than usual and am left with a few four-letter words. If anyone can help with these, it would be much appreciated:
10a - a small lake - ?A?E 12a - not yet conclusive, especially in legal matters N?S? 29a - interpretation of a course of events made by politicians to sway public opinion ??I? 29d - brace extending from the keel of a boat that supports the rudderpost - ??E?
Thanks for those. Most helpful. I'm not sure about TARN though because I have E at the end from 2 down, which is "strong digestive juice capable of coping with fats" and I've put BILE.
Thanks. I've spelt 1d as STEARAGE when it should be STEERAGE. Going to stand in the corner now and hang my head in shame. Thanks for SKEG. I don't think I'd ever have got that one.
