Juicing Question ? Need some tips from u regular juicers !!

Hi I'm doing some juicing this week in time for going abroad to get married....

But I work a long day and need to take my juices with me in a bottle and make them the night before (I haven't got time in the morning with having to leave house at 6.30am)...

Any tips for adding something to my juice or not adding to my juice (I use apples) to stop them going a murky brown colour ! Tried a bit of lemon juice but it still went browny !! It don't look good !!!!! I do like adding apples but if its that reason I'll just have to use other fruits...tips needed thanks xxx

I have only been juicing for 3 mons. now, but I do not think juicing to go is a good thing. There must be a massive deterioration very quickly within whatever is juiced, as there are no preservatives. For instance I read in AB recently that juiced oranges lose their Vit C within 4 mins, so if this is true it does not say much for long term daily use.
I must say I am now feeling the benifit of juicing.

I learnt from my nutrionalist that the good thing about juicing is to get the goodness out of the fruit and vegetables within 5 minutes, however you can leave juice for up to 24 hours in a sealed container and covered up to prevent any light from getting to it and leaving it in the fridge.
My opinion is that it may be good to get up a bit earlier maybe?! or find a place near work that does fresh juices delivered to you office.

I find using a hand blender, which are available for as little as �8, as effective as a juicer and a lot easier to clean, maybe you can prepare the drinks in your break, use the hand blender and rinse (blending into the vessel you are drinking out of to save cleaning).
