Lovely thank you. Puts me in mind of our sessions in the Shebeen which start again in two weeks. X
Absolutely! Nothing better than a cèilidh which, as you will know, is much more about 'visiting' than 'dancing'. Drink flowing, and people who just get up and sing, or play a tune, or recite some poetry. That's the 'craic'.

Cosy gathering. Eight or ten of us with four or five musicians.
I learned to dance years ago for these evenings because I have a voice my daughter wouldn’t inflict on an enemy.

Luke…a favourite of Psybs….both much missed.
Not sure who Psybs is/was, but Luke Kelly was one of the greatest singers this planet has ever produced.

He was fantastic. I had a boyfriend who was Luke’s double and a great musician. He died young trying to rescue a girl from the sea. I visit his grave and share a dram with him.
Psybbo was a lovely Irish aber. Died six years ago.
Oh right. Before I joined. Will raise a dram of finest Scotch single malt to him...
