Heard this tonight on Frank Hennessy's Celtic Heartbeat - lovely.
Can't think why I've never heard of it before.
I'm sure Gness and others from that way will know it well
This version was sung by The outside track - worth a listen

Thank you Buenchico
I thought it made a change from the million songs we've all heard before :-)

That is beautiful - does it mean Christmas Day?
It's very similar to the Welsh - Dydd Nadolig :-)
"Great Christmas Night", apparently, Haras2.
Oh, hang on though.

It's the title of the song (at the top of the video, above) that means 'Great Christmas Night'.

"Duan Nollaig' (which is the album title) means "Christmas Eve" (according to Google, anyway!).

........And, of course, that's much closer to the meaning of the carol
Thank you, Haras. That is so beautiful isn't it? And this year many of the words made me think of the Ukrainians and what they have been going through.
Have a Merry Christmas. x

Thank you too, Chris. x
Both beautiful, thanks. I wish we heard more of different Christmas songs.
