Lump On Foot

On my right foot, I have a lump. It is on the top of my foot to the inner side. It is about an inch round. It is hard. I do have a bunion on that foot and it is about 1.5 inches up the foot from my bunion.

It doesn't hurt, (unless I really press it hard) it doesn't move but it is noticeable. If you imagine your big toe, going up towards the ankle, it is above the bone(s) linking to the big toe and about 2.5 inches to 3 inches from the point of my big toe but over that bone to the left hand side.

A bit like an elephant, it is not easy to describe. Should I be worried? Any ideas?

TIA

You need to get it sorted before Christmas so you can wear your Jimmy Choos.
Barmaid I have a matching one on my right foot!

Red. Old Broad indeed!! How very dare you.

Thank you for the reassurance, Sqad.

Tilly, my Jimmy Choos days are over. I will wear some medium heel sling backs from time to time, but frankly, I dress for comfort now!

Mind you, I shall wear a pair of 4 inch heels for a very short drinks party on Sat night, but I shall kick them off within minutes of getting home!
Sqad, BM wants to wear her fishnets and stilettos for Xmas day, the lump may ruin ‘ the look’. :-‘)
I'm not a Dr or a Typist, nor am I eaten up with bitterness or hatred, but I would say it could be one of a few different things. If it begins to bother you I would see your GP and ask for referral to a Foot & Ankle Surgeon.
I’m not a dr, typist or nurse!
But no one will be looking at your feet if you wear that outfit BM.

Lol,Ane.

It's not that bad. I could still rock the seamed fishnets and heels. If I could be bothered. And I'm too tired for that nonsense!!

Mr BM can walk some days but not others, so I end up fetching and carrying for him. Im so tired.
Question Author
It's not bothering me, Lady CG. It doesnt hurt and it does not impact footwear.

It is noticeable when i sit with no socks on in front of the fire.

I dont want to make too much of a fuss and will mention it next time I have cause to visit the GP. Thank you for your input.

Please can i ask that this thread does not degenerate. I welcome sensible and light hearted contributions but please, let's not start a spat.

Thanks all.
I`d probably go and see a podiatrist. They could probably tell you more about it than the doctor (at this stage)
