Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Hi cash. I'd got as far as Pasta Carbon... but hadn't seen where 'ara' came from - but can now. Ta.

Thanks both, makes a change for me but all I did was google pasta a (to see what was suggested), then pasta b and when I got to c carbonara was suggested. Bingo.

i still dont get the carbonara bit-- is the gas CO (carbon monoxide?)... i can see maybe AA for two firsts and aN for direction but that leave's RR

But carbon isnt a gas??? its solid at room temp???

did you put down pasta carbonara?
I allso looked at pasta neopolitan / Napolitana if the gas was Ne/Neon but couldnt finnish it

I'm not being nasty bobb, but I do think you are overthinking it. It's a fun charity quiz, not Mastermind. The setter should probably have put element rather than gas and the ara is right. Or perhaps the setter doesn't realise carbon is not a gas or was thinking monoxide/dioxide.
