:-). I was sitting an A level exam in a portacabin with the windows covered in large sheets of paper. The sheet above me unstuck and floated down to completely cover me. Not that I could have cheated. I was one of only two sitting the exam.

At least it was only a sheet of paper that landed on top of you, Gness. I invigilated a 3-hour A-level Maths exam, never moving from my seat throughout. At the end I said "Stop writing, please", stood up and took a couple of paces forward. It was at that moment that the ceiling came crashing down, right on top of where I'd just been sitting!

Wow! Close call, Chris. The only thing that's ever fallen on my head.....which probably explains a lot was the contents of a cigarette machine. In the 60s in a cafe somewhere. The machine was above a table I was at. The machine slipped somehow...the door flew open and dozens of packets of cigarettes showered down on me. Should have kept them. Worth a fortune now. :-)

It's a bit blinkered to suggest students would use these contrivances to cheat.
