Smiling is infectious,
you catch it like the flu,
When someone smiled at me today,
I started smiling too.
I passed around the corner
and someone saw my grin.
When he smiled I realized
I'd passed it on to him.
I thought about that smile,
then I realized its worth.
A single smile, just like mine
could travel round the earth.
So, if you feel a smile begin,
don't leave it undetected.
Let's start an epidemic quick,
and get the world infected!
I was in Specsavers yesterday, not feeling great, having been subjected to several low chairs (bad back was complaining).
At one point in the back & forth, I passed a lady who had the most delightful-looking lass in a small pushchair & I was unable not to smile & offer a little wave at her. She responded with a huge smile of her own & started giggling.
I'm quite prepared to accept that she simply thought "What a funny-looking thing that is", but it made my day :-)
I love that poem GG and smiling is contagious :)
It's even nicer now when i am out and about and see the lovely smiles now that the masks have been removed, it often then leads to a nice conversation. LiK, children are just wonderful for giving you the biggest smile, they're gorgeous
