Good evening. My son in law has just been told that his cousin has been diagnosed with MS. Son in laws mother and her twin sister have MS, cousin is the son of twin sister. Sin L is now panicking that he may develop MS and is also scared for my two grand children. I have done some googling and it appears he has a very slim chance through heredity. Can any of you clever people find any better research than the NHS site, please?

The first main section here covers the slight increase in risk quite well : https://www.mssociety.org.uk/about-ms/what-is-ms/causes-of-ms

Please look up the Wahls Protocol. Terry Wahls did a Ted talk called Minding Your Mitochondria. It may well be hereditary, but you might be able to avoid it by doing the protocol.
