A dolphin and her two young were trapped in the bay. Monitoring showed they were getting stressed so friends and relatives with advice from a couple of experts set out to rescue them.
Just heard that after much effort, swimming and corralling they were rescued and taken to the open ocean.
Mother was leaping for joy when she joined her two happy babies. :-)

I saw the dolphins, LadyJ. I followed the monitoring. I couldn't respond to the request to help with the rescue. My swimming isn't great. Cousin and two of our friends helped experts with the rescue and informed us of the outcome. So no, not gossip. :-)

I thought posting an animal thread others could join in and tell us their tales as once would have happened in CB would just make a change this week. I was wrong and don't think I'll bother again.

Gness, please DO bother - happy threads of any kind should be embraced, we need something to offset the ... other kind. I'd like the happier tales to gather momentum - even though I am completely not an animal lover.

I'd love to, Never....I used to do a Bliss thread most days and folk would join in with their bliss moments. Often wandered and turned into fun but then the spoilers started with sarcasm and I gave up. There were often chatty threads started by others too. Would that be so bad for the site just now?
Happier...and interesting threads...gathering momentum would help the site no end. But will what happened here today happen all the time? :-(

Thanks, Gness. I'm not a fan of the Bliss threads, and not a fan of the late night music threads - but I like to see people enjoying themselves, amicably! I'm not a fan of hijacking either ... but that seems to be getting more prevalent now.

Exactly, Never! I don't join the cooking threads ...well I don't do the cooking. But I don't feel the need to spoil them. I might join in to tease Dave.
It is the hijacking that's such a nuisance now. All for the sake of spouting through having nothing else to do in a long day I guess.
If I do start a Bliss thread...though unlikely....I will challenge you to find a bliss to post! :-)
