ummm... someone has just told me the name of a band, i think has something to do with pirates, that have really long names for their songs, really random ones including some swear words? does that sound familiar? if it does any suggestions would be great!!! thanks

Don't suppose you mean Captain Beefheart? Some of his song titles were pretty long and random:
Neon Meate Dream Of A Octafish
My Head Is My Only House Unless It Rains
A Carrot Is As Close As A Rabbit Gets To A Diamond
etc...
