People are worried about heating their homes this coming winter. That's not a problem just now. How can you cool a house?

We laughed at Dave when he brought his snazzy air con unit to Ireland. We’re not laughing now as we relax in the cool bliss of his office.

Right now all doors and windows are open and the temperature inside has dropped rapidly; in fact I'm quite chilly and the mist we have had for several nights now is rolling in.

As others have said. Shield from the heat with curtains and cool at times like now. Here's where I yearn for the solid wood external shutters that we had in France, but the curtains do let more light through.
