An agency I did some work for owe me some holiday money (about 750), I have found out they are now in liquidation. I have been told that as I was an employee (on PAYE through them) that there is a National Insurance fund that covers this problem specifically, and the government pays out directly, meaning that employees don't have to be treated as normal creditors (ie unless they are HM Customs or the Banks they don't stand a chance of getting their money!) Please has anyone got any experience of this? Thanks..
