Sincere thanks to j2buttonsw and Cactus who attempted to solve my problem for me with first rate advice which I appreciate very much. Sorry to say I still can't get the crosswords to down load even after putting the advice into operation. It must be some other problem that is causing this deficiency in my machine.Thanks again to both of you for your interest. John McG Canberra.3/12/02.

No worries John, sorry we weren't able to solve the problem. I have another idea though. If you've got a friend who's got internet access, you could ask them to download the crosswords for you, print them, then send them to you. Hopefully their different computer setup will allow java, and you'll still get to do your crosswords! Good luck. :)
