Well done, LiK, beating me as usual. (Actually, I think that should read 'as always'. You're too darned good for me!)
;-)
Welcome to the 13-aggregate Club, Twix!
Ditto, Emmie!
Well done with that decent 5, HW4!
Aha! I remember now, Roo. You've mentioned Lowestoft before and I've written about what an (almost) total dump it is these days. The actual road called High Street (rather than London Road North, which serves as the town's shopping high street), to the north of the town centre, has a certain charm to it and London Road South has a few decent charity shops but, over all, the place is still a dump. Even the beach isn't as nice as it used to be, now that the rock groynes (introduced to try to prevent the sand all being washed away again) are in place. They make it look rather ugly.
Oulton Broad is OK though. There's not a lot there, apart from Nicholas Everitt park and a few shops but it's still quite pleasant though. (I keep telling myself that I really must re-visit some of the pubs there, as some of them seem to be well-reviewed for their food. From where I live, in Needham Market, I can either travel to Oulton Broad North via Norwich or to Oulton Broad South via Ipswich).
