Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Any ideas out there for a Friday 13th Quiz/Competetion i can run at work for about 10-15 people? Like to get everyone to pay a fiver and one person wins a prize with all profits going to charity.
Something along the 'Unlucky' theme would be good

Any help would be much appreciated, cheers

Does the "toon" part of your user name imply connections with the NE? I only ask because I composed a quiz many years ago with cryptic clues to NE towns and villages.

Yes, was born there but moved down south when i was 3 years old. Some family still up there and go and see the team when i can.

Hi , might I suggest you have a tie-break question to hand in case there is more than with the same right answers . Something like ' what is the population of Paris ?' or ' how many square miles does Canada cover ? ' with the nearest one the winner .

Hi folks, I went in to the quiz and answered all but it said
I got one wrong - that being NEW CUT YOUR ? ON
A FRIDAY I put nails actually toenails but it states
I'm wrong what is the answer?

A FIVER?! b***** h*** - I'm glad I don't work with you!! Seriously though - you will remember to clear yourself legally re collecting money in the workplace, won't you. You have to account for every penny and be able to prove that you are not making a profit. It takes only one person to complain!

Here's a question that might baffle everyone! (Just wanted to use this word again - I used it once many years ago!!)
Q. What is the meaning of the word triskaidekaphobia?
A. Fear of the number 13.
I just hope your quiz contestants don't use this web site! But the word is in the Oxford English Dictionary as well.

(I also think �5 entry to the quiz is a bit steep. Why not open it up to more people instead?)
