I am sat in the garden listen to a neighbour cutting her lawns and she is singing whilst doing so. It made me think that people singing is not something you hear very often these days

You don't have to have a good voice to be in a choir. I am in a natural voice choir. Their philosophy is that anyone should be able to enjoy singing if they want to regardless of how well they do it. There's no auditioning a9nd with new songs you can choose your own part. I am usually in the bottom ranges, but have done the top ranges for some songs too

Interesting post! I have NEVER heard MrSmow sing - ever, in 16 years or so! I often sing myself tho.

Well bednobs I use to be in plays from 12 to 14. I danced solo but there were times all singers and dancers sang together and my teacher told me to mime singing as I was so out of tune

I sing in the garden too.. Headphones on and listening to Amy Winehouse... In my head I'm a brilliant singer
