My doctor told me to cal 111 this morning after a fall I had a week ago, where I hit my left temple and cut it, and got a huge lump, and the lump is still there! So I reluctantly rang them. Unbeknown to me, an hour later, there was a knock on my door - I opened it and a paramedic was standing there!! I was mortified. Apologised profusely and said I didn’t ask for anyone to come out. She was lovely. Insisted on examining me anyway. When she finally left I noticed she was sat in her vehicle outside, so I went into the kitchen and grabbed a couple of chocolate wafers. Went out to her car, knocked on window, she wound it down and I gave them to her. She said “ohh Thankyou so much - nobody ever gives me anything”. So yes it was just a couple of chocolate wafers but she was grateful lol.

Another fall?

Not another, it was a week ago.
Smow; a lovely gesture.

Thanku atheist - I just felt so bad that she’d been sent out, and I wanted to give her something x
Many people doing that kind of work are treated in an off-hand way. Even the ones who are administering life-saving. And when they've saved their life and moved on to the next, they can disappear into history and are sometimes forgotten. They don't do the job for profit, they do it because of what they are inside. Well done.

She was so lovely. I kept apologising at her even being here and she was so so lovely.
I meant 'another' in addition to the fractured coccyx and your spine, both caused by falls, I think

It’s ok Barry x
The number of falls you have - I would be going private and asking for a thorough work over to see what the issue is!
Boy#1 was on a break with the rest of his crew yesterday and a Corona rep gave them some free samples (they didn’t drink them then, obviously). Some people are very nice to them but I’ve been amazed to hear, first hand, how badly treated they are by a worrying number of ‘patients’ - knives pulled on them, sworn at, spat at, fought with in ambulances, etc
