Quite rightly, B00 has proved to me and dispelled any doubts about the fact that only the Questioner is able to ''mark-up' answers by awarding stars.

Accordingly, I now ask:- " Should it not follow that a system is made available for us to 'mark-down' answers which are sarcastic; personally unacceptable; etc: but are outside of the categories for reporting?."

Heh, I love it when I'm right- doesn't happen often! How are you this lovely afternoon vivandorron?

I think we should have sounds....wouldn't it be cool if the answers that are rude/abusive whatever were read to the sound of a blowing raspberry?
I quite agree..I have just answered someones Q in Body and Soul .They had one answer to the Q. a completely facetious remark .If it was me asking I would be put off straight away.
There should be more facilities for reporting sarcastic ,rude, and unnecessary answers to peoples serious questions.
I I third (or fourth) the suggestion...there is one particular person who nearly always gives a sarcy remark, especially when they can't understand the Q (thick springs to mind), because everyone else manages to answer 'correctly'!!

Thanks to all of you who have replied so far.

However ,as B00 has asked a personal question I feel it would be discourteous if I didn't reply in this instance.

Both Viv and I are O.K. considering we are A.O.P's. Hope you are fine; you sound as if you are in good spirits. Blowing raspberries is a good idea. Perhaps there are others who agree........Best wishes......Ron
