How do I get 'The Phil Silvers Show' back on T.V?

It would normally have aired on BBC2 I think so go to bbc.co.uk and select the BBC2 pages, and the 'contact us' link. You'll get a msg box to complete and within a few days you should get a response. I'm with you on the genius that was the Phil Silvers Show, but unlike you am resigned to their not being shown anymore and am planning to get them on dvd. Hope you don't mind suggesting it, but could you come back to this thread to let us know how you get on?

Having recently listened to a great show on Radio 4 about 'Bilko' it got me thinking, when are you going to air 'The Phil Silvers Show' again?

Unfortunately it turns out that the BBC no longer hold the rights to show the series, they expired back in 2004.

I have since simply asked whether there is any chance of the rights being renewed?

I would imagine if enough people did the same who knows what might happen!?
