Today's ITV7 consists of 4 races from Musselburgh (3 of which are handicaps) and 3 from Newbury, including the 17 runner Spring Cup handicap. The first leg is the 1.32 Muss.

Morning Ken. I noticed that you had posted yesterday and Wednesday but I hadn't even looked at the cards. Been a bit busy trying to catch up with the seed planing, which was cancelled because I was supposed to have the op. Nice N.H. meet up at Haydock today as well. Post my picks later.
On early, trip to order up compost etc. on the cards. I had a look back at yesterdays races and was quite taken with Checkandchallenge. Nice colt, 2 runs 2 wins. 2,000 Guineas maybe? Itv7 done and split it into two bets ****Win Acca, Trebles, Doubles. ⁕⁕⁕E/W Trixie and singles. I also have free bets on the 2 FA Cup semis. Probably put scorecasts together when the teams are out. Will post that on the footie thread. Lovely and warm up here. Good Luck all.

Afternoon Togo. The decision NOT to go to Happy Haddock was made just over an hour and a half ago. We (me, my lad and a friend) had discussed it last night and again this morning. We came to the conclusion that it's a very trappy meeting and even with all 3 of us each backing a different horse in each race, we could still come home empty handed - and with empty pockets. That's the first time i've ever decided not to attend a race meeting because of the difficulty in choosing a winner:-(

Suffice to say, we have all done Lucky 15s at Haydock and have each chosen the same 2 horses in our bets (Lime Drop and Kaiser - i've done them with Isolate and Molly Carew for a poss £1,236).

1.32 Muss; Spirit Catcher @ 5/1
2.04 Muss; Gobi Sunset @ 17/2 - 4 places
2.39 Muss; Raasel @ 11/2 - 4 places
3.14 Muss; Sir Rumi @ 4/1 - 5 places

4 x £2 win singles, 20p L15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = £23, 4 winners = £2,484

1.50 N'b; Ilarab @ 3/1
2.25 N'b; Jumbly @ 11/4
3.35 N'b; Saleymm @ 3/1

£1 Treble, £1 Trixie for a poss £166.

All above in ITV 7 - £1 e.w. acca.

Also gone e.w. on Chti Balko (absolutely loves Haydock) @ 18s

My £5 free bet is on Random Harvest in the last at Newbury @ 15/2.

The best of luck to all.
I didn't miss much then. 1 winner from 5. Not good enough. Covered the last 2 and planted some seeds at Haydock. E/W acca, win doubles and trebles.

Vienna Court @6/1 5.01
Gleno @ 9/2 5.34.

Also began with the first winner but i had the forecast, too - paid £46.33. Also had a £2.50 Rev f/c in the 2.54 Carlisle, 1st and 2nd favs, which paid £9.06. Better than nowt, i suppose. Gonna pick a bet from the late games and one from tonight's meets.
1st and last won. 40p win double gave me £16.80 back. Another with them would have been handy.
