Do Readers Digest prize draw winners exist?

Have you or anyone you know ever won a Readers Digest prize draw? The bumpf they send you as so cleverly worded and enticing. You feel obliged to say YES to the product they're selling in case saying NO rules you out of winning the cash prizes. But their printed list of winners doesn't always seem convincing. So I'd love to know if genuine winners actually are out there.

A collleague of mine won the jackpot about 10 years ago.

He never bought anything off them, either. :)

Yes, I've a friend who won a washing machine & I've met someone who won a car - she had the photo on the wall of her receiving the keys.
