Stair/Landing Carpet

Can anyone suggest an alternative to the above?

Our present stair and landing carpet is becoming unsightly and I'd like to replace it with something else.
We have wooden floors downstairs, including the hall (jojoba wood flooring), and greyish flecked laminate in all the bedrooms.
The only carpet we have is on the stairs and the landing.

Any suggestions please?

I thought they looked good. I saw one with brass rods holding the carpet in place too, which I remember from years ago
