I have recently started doing more training and am doing around 2 hours a night/6days a week (running, gym etc) the problem is during the day I feel shattered.

I know it's a case of getting use to it all but just wondered what is good for taking that shattered feeling away. I have to do around 2hrs a day as I have a metabolic disorder (without going into too much detail). Just wonder if anyone else feels the same or if it is just me. Thanks.

Sounds to me as if you are not eating enough. You cannot train hard and not eat.

I am wondering if you atre having suffient Iron in your diet for example you are eating too much junk food and not enough proper food. You should try and have liver in your diet at least twice a month plenty of green veg . Have You
had Blood Tests for Anaemia? If not I think you should get to see your doctor and some tests done cant be to careful with ones health.

no i dont eat junk food - i eat about 80-90% correctly (due to the metabolic disorder) my only vice is coffee. i dont drink (well a glass of wine once in a blue moon these days or smoke).

I didnt do any exercise last night and today i am fine - however iron problems do run in my family. So i will mention it to the dr - i think it may just be a case of getting use to all the training that i am now doing. Thanks for the answers and mmm not sure i can do the liver thing but i will up my iron intake - thanks :-)
