When fat people run, does it hurt them? I'm not fat, never have been, so when I see some run through the park, I was wondering if the fat wobbling about actually aches? Or as the chances are the fat has built up over a period of time, do they not notice this extra burden and just get tired more quickly? [edited by ABED]

And emuboy, please refrain from moronic incorrectness. This may be difficult for you, however, as the dictionary definition of moronic describes very well the content of your post. Maybe you should contact the health professionals of the country to advise them they are using the wrong terms for describing obese people and should infact be calling them 'porkified'. Please get a grip, there is never an excuse to derogate people!!

The problem with this day and age is that political correctness has taken control. Myself and my friends often jest with other about such things, we affectionately call a good friend Meatball due to his obesity, but he doesn't start sobbing or stop eating his food...he soldiers on and orders another All Day Breakfast.

This is the real world people, people are being blown up every day in Iraq, freezing to death in the mountains of Pakistan, stop getting all wound up by a bit name calling.

Political correctness is a load of bull I agree. However there is freedom of speech and then there is respect and good manners. And guess what, they are not exclusive of one another.

Where as your friends know you and can easily ignore your lapses of judgment or they understand your sense of humour, the rest of the people on this planet haven't had the pleasure of meeting you nor you them. So why is so hard to understand the basic principles of respect? And if you so vehemently believe in your rights of freedom of speech then why did you apologize in the first place?

I only made an apology for my wording...knowing full well that if I didn't some do-gooder would report me.

I have little repsect for fat people when there size is of their own doing i.e. binge eaters/drinkers. I know some people have medical issues which causes them to be overweight, but it seems a lot of tubby people use this for an excuse.

Fish Kid. I don't know how old you are but you sound very young and without very much experience of the world. You have made a statement about tubby people here without even doing any research on the subject. I suggest that you look into this in greater depth. Yes, some people overeat and binge, but there are a great deal of reasons why people may be overweight. And believe it or not some people are perfectly content to be tubby and happy in their own skins, not always striving to look like the fashionable 'skinnies'. People are all shapes and sizes and all are acceptable.

You are obviously quite an intelligent person but lacking in maturity.

fat greedy people get no sympathy from me...

they should pay for the NHS instead of smokers getting such a hard time...

before you all get on your high horse..

I don't smoke!

...chins up fatties!
