Believe it or not, Rowan my father came from a family of very tall, famous Irish athletes. I live in a village full of big tall cousins. My maternal grandfather was the tallest man in his American army regiment. God knows what happened to me. :-(

I'd imagined you as a tall feisty colleen like the heroine in 'The Quiet Man' but even feistier than her - you wouldn't have let me knock you around and drag you by the wrist off to my croft (or whatever you lot have over there). You'd have thrown me over your shoulder and carried me off to be ravished a bit. Ah well, such is life. :-)

Sorry I missed you, but glad to see gness "looked after" you.... just remember her height... if she throws you over her shoulder, you'll hit your head on the ground pretty hard...

But at least it's not too far to fall. Truth is having met her it's surprising how little you notice her height. Gness is not a 'small' person
