I use one here in the U.S. that's well respected and accurate... www.edmonds.com . I don't know if it's available in the U.K., however...

Just traded an Astra against a Discovery. Used WHAT CAR? price guide as, well, a guide, & figures were spot on. Gave me info as to which salesman to tell "go take a hike" & which was offerring a sensible deal.
Got what book said re Astra & screen price of Disco dropped down to same as book advised. Would def reccommend.

be very careful on the equipment specifications for cars on all uk car websites - i have spotted loads of errors/mistakes
