Help Please

I took my charger for Amazon Fire 7 out of socket to put Christmas tree in and now I have misplaced the charger with plug.

I have looked on Amazon and find many and so am confused with what to buy - anybody refer to a link please.

no bed - just a cable with a little plug going into computer one end and into the Amazon Fire 7 on the other end. After 40 minutes 4 minutes charge

Different cables can charge at different rates, you can't tell by looking at the cable.
Mains charging will nearly always be faster than charging through your pc especially if the pc is a few years old.
It helps if you turn your Fire off completely

found the charger - where I thought it would be safe - not - in future - anything I mislay I will leave out in full sight .
