What made me laugh was after nearly 2 weeks on the street, Kelly was able to make a phone call to that dealer!!!
Question Author
Haha we said that , where did she charge her phone ?
To be fair, many (most?) homeless people have mobile phones. They charge them in McDonald's, in public libraries or in places like station waiting rooms, just the same as many other people do.
Question Author
Of course Chris :0)
I'm finding Corrie very weak and boring at the moment and. I do sudukos whilst I watch. (To improve my IQ ;o). Don't like that Daisy at all!
Bobbi...are you doubting Chris? Mobiles are almost a necessity as it's the only way that the homeless can keep connected to needed services...social, housing, medical.
Though how the homeless are portrayed in tv and ads is always too...idealised...clean...unreal?
What amazes me is how clean Kelly's clothes are!
Its her eyelashes that get me.
What I couldn't understand about Kelly last night was firstly why Nina didn't take her back to the flat which she now has all to herself and secondly why no-one offered the poor girl a shower !
Question Author
Pasta why do you think I’m doubting Chris?
No, I wasn’t!
Question Author
Yes ,why did she go to Dev’s all rather strange
No, I’m not liking Daisy either , she’s manipulative
Daisy's very pretty though isn't she ?!
Question Author
Got lots of teeth :0)))
Ha ha ...
How the hell is The Woolpack in Emmerdale still open , it is always empty even before the pandemic
Question Author
I agree , at one time the pub was the epicentre of the soaps, now it’s as miserable as the soaps themselves
its the first time i've seen a bar entrance at the opposite side of where the old one is this week
Dev had already offered to put Kelly up. Nina felt she had to 'do the right thing' when she saw Kelly being targetted but in no way can she forgive and forget - yet.
Nina would find it intolerable to share her home with Kelly.
In fairness to the Woolpack and The Rovers being empty and devoid of atmosphere , the scenes at the moment were probably done several months ago.
Covid restrictions were being adhered to and the soaps have tried to carry on . Some have been cut down in time ,like Eastenders and scenes drawn out in other soaps. Hopefully they will be back to normal soon.
