Your absolutely right JJ - well said. And I am not a meanie. I regularly givecto favourite charities and much more at Christmas to help those who are in need. Most of us don't need presents. And if we want to give present, it doesn't have to be at Christmas. I am ruling little kids out of my thoughts about Christmas. It's an enchanting time for them, but they don't need expensive gifts to make them happy.

If you have market near you - have a word with the vegetable stall holder - I bet you he would be willing to give you a discount if you take the less than perfect fruit and veg at the end of the day

Emmie at 7.01 - their cotton may be "ethically sourced" but the poor people who stitch it all together are paid an absolute pittance. No, I haven't been inside a Primark in living memory and have no intention of doing so for the above reason.
