I have a watch that has a vulcanised rubber strap with metal inserts.

Now that it has been used for a bit & in & out of the sea etc. the strap looks very dull. The metal is easy to clean but does anyone have any suggestions of what I can use to put some life back in the strap.
Thanks.

You could try rubbing on some silicon grease like they use on divers 'O' ring seals, then wipe it off before wearing the watch again. It won't do the strap any harm, and should put a gloss back.on it - temporarily, at least.
