Anybody out there use Windows Media Center? I've just got round to playing with it but haven't bothered with the remote. Is it possible to access the guide without the remote?

I also got a lot of crashing when accessing certain features - certain dlls were mentioned (said I should reinstall). A hunt on the Internet pointed to Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0 and the Media Centre Rollup2 update as the culprits (with a solution). Managed to fix that problem.

How about the guide?

It's OK - got it (not having read the manual) - just click on 'My TV' rather than choosing 'Live TV' - Doh!
Hi Folks,

I have it installed on my Sony, however I don't or can't get a decent picture. I have connected it direct to the same aerial that I use for my television and whilst I get a great picture on the telly when I transfer the aerial to the computer the picture is ***p (terrible).

Regards

CSG2306, is there only one aerial connection on your Sony? Sometimes the Media Centre machines have a separate TV card?

Forgot to say, did you go through the (quite laborious) wizard for tuning the TV in? I was presented with two transmitters in the area and had to know which one broadcast the better signal.
