I would like to move from HSBC, but have an overdraft and a loan with them too. Is it possible to move current account and keep loan at same rates? Any advice on current accounts which offer good overdrafts?

switch to Alliance and Leicester, all managed on internet including payment of bills, direct debits etc.
12 month free overdraft and if you mention that I referred you we get 50 each!!!!
I presume you just carry on paying your loan, you are not tied to having a HSBC account, direct debit it from your new account.
Interest on A&L current account is over 6%, best rate out there! every little helps!
I used to have a HSBC personal loan and when I tried to switch my current account I was told I couldn't close the HSBC account until the loan was repaid!

I had to keep it open and pay in some money each month to cover the loan payment.....bit of a pain!
