need to pay to put an advert on TV? Where else are we going to get our water from? Don't get me wrong, many in the world would think it a miracle that you just turn a tap & get as much clean water as you want. But the logic behind advertising the company eludes me.

Good question. I have'nt see the ad so do'nt know what it says. Maybe there aiming it at investors in there shares rather than to customers, or maybe there just encouraging customers to engage via there website or save water or get meters fitted - or pollute rivers less

These sorts of "ads" aren't really advertising a company's product - more a case of "upping" their profiles. Perhaps (in this case) making people more aware of their water supply, so they aren't taking it for granted?
