I was told that the above is hapening, but I can't find anything about it - I've even gone onto the RAF Duxford and Imperial War Museum websites, but found no mention.

Have I been given duff info?

There is a permanent Battle of Britain exhibition at Duxford, but no Battle of Britain week that i know of. Last week there was the Spitfire exhibition at Goodwood (I went, but a bit expensive to get in - 45 !!) and the week before that the Tiger Moth's at Woburn.

Thanks - I've got a day off on Friday, so I think I'll go up to Duxford.
There is the Shoreham airshow this weekend, Shoreham, East Sussex with a large number of Spitfires in attendance, if that's of interest to you.
You'll be spoilt for choice at Duford anyway . Apart from the B of B exhibition , there are numerous examples of Spitfires and a Hurricane or two there . Plus the American Air Force exhibition hanger and Land Warfare Hall are brimming with stuff too.

And no I'm not on commission either....Enjoy your day .
