not sure its that easy to make,

Wikipedia says this, "These are mashed into a paste and buried for several months. The fermented shrimp are then dug up, fried and hard-pressed into cakes."
If you think this sounds gross, try looking up how fish sauce (nam pla) is made. NASTY!!!!
