you could contact your local gas central heating firm who may be able to give you an idea of the cost as im sure they have done it before. worth a try.
I have just had fitted combi boiler, old back boiler taken out, 2 new radiators, 6 flushed through and thermostats fitted, new gas fire including hearth. removal of tank in airing cupboard. Total cost 2,900 using an independant plumber. Iam in the north east .
nooooooooo. i got a new boiler and it cost 1800 pounds
I've just got a quote from a colleague who does plumbing on the side and he reckons about 2400 for supply and fitting of combi-boiler feeding 6 or 7 radiators and all sinks baths/showers etc in a flat where the floors are already up and I'm doing some of the labouring. Looking at the prices of raw materials from all over the place I reckon that's a fair price. Hope this helps, Andy
just a ball park as it will always differ from house to house but on average 2.5 - 3 k is what i charge

Thanks everyone for your help
Gasman is there much mess with this kind of job?

it is a fairly clean job compared to most building works jobs but the disruptoin of moving funiture & pulling up carpets is the thing that gets most people Try clearing as much things away as possible to avoid the job taking longer than it should and incurring extra costs... Good luck.
