I am a book keeper running a small practice.

I have no formal qualifications but would like to take a qualification that will enable me to improve the service I provide and give me more earning capacity if I decide yo close the practice and work for a company instead.

I was wondering about AAT.

Any advice?

Google Certified Bookeepers. This is an association for bookkeepers. They have exams and network which will probably be right up your street.
AAT offer a bookkeeping qualification called ABC. Look here for more information: www.aat.org.uk

it is a home study computer based course so is perfect if you want to train part-time.
