Hi Guys, how do create a word which is a link to a website, a lot of you do that on this site and I have no idea how to do it, I only use my Mac for drawing nice pretty pictures for work.

...mmm....time was when (IE only) you could paste or type your link then select it and overwrite it with any name you wanted..........that seems to have disappeared for some reason...........think it maybe since the preview option came in............pity that as it was so easy.

I have to say, I hate it when people do that. I'm not about to click a link when I don't know where it's going to take me, so I have to hover the mouse over the link and look down at the status bar.

Obviously in the body of a web site it has a valid use to prevent disturbing the flow of an article, but in an answer on here, it just seems like "showing off" to me.

Of course this is just my humble opinion...
Sorry guys.I pressed submit instead of preview <G>....... I was just testing out Kempies link............it does work ok but unlike roj I think it's cool....I just LOVE showing off ;-)...... anybody know what happened to the old method?
rojash - surely you should hover over every link, since things are not always as they first appear...
