change a fuse behind glove comp.

has anyone else had to change a fuse in a Mondeo Zetec? I need to take out the glove compartment. When I pulled the lever at the back to the left,as instructed in the manual I expected it to pull out easy, but NO,it didnt. Is it supposed to pull out easily or is brute force required, or am i not doin something right??

Did you remove the drop down glove box first? I had trouble getting to the fuse box until I pulled this out. Even then the fuse box did not open easily, but at least you could see it. The box needs a firm pull to release it.

Thats what I could'nt get out!! Its really needs a good pull, but i'm a worried i might break something

So did I! But someone showed me that although it needs a good pull, it does come out. I don't think you can get to the fuse box without removing it despite what the handbook tells/shows you.
