My sister is taking antidepressants and is having trouble with her sex drive and ability to climax. Any ideas on what might help? Does it matter what time of the day it is taken? Thanks

suggest your sister reads the leaflet which would have been with her medication, if the tablets have side effects she should discuss with her G P .
A number of anti-depressants list loss of libido and / or climax disfunction as a side effect - maybe a change in medication would help? Must be discussed with GP of course.
I think this is a common side effect. she should talk to her GP about maybe decreasing the strength or replacing it with another med. If she has just started taking it - remember it does take a while for the body to adjust to it.
I had this problem whilst on anti depressants - im afraid to say that nothing can help this apart from coming off the anti depressants and even then it takes a week to get back to normal. But i must say if she decides to come off these - do not stop instantly you have to gradually decrease the dose or else it could result in manic depression - though im sure she probably already knows this.
