Multi-coloured rain drops

Today when on my mobile it started drizziling and when the drops hit the screen of the phone they appeared to be multi-coloured.Why is this ?

the drops are like little magnifiers , they magnify some of the couloured sub-pixels ( red, green, blue ) that the screen is made of.
The screen is already multi-coloured in the first place, but the pixels are too small for you to see the different colours without magnification.
