I hope that I'm not going to annoy you by posting a response which doesn't actually answer your question. (All I can suggest is watching the end credits on the next programme to see which company actually makes it. Then do a web search for their address and write to the production team - or send them an e-mail).

Otherwise, all I can offer is a 'back-up' response. i.e. if you can't get hold of Rachel Allen's recipe, why not try someone else's? :

write to Rachel Allen c/o The Sunday Tribune, 15 Lower Baggot St, Dublin 2, or e-mail [email protected]

She had a recipe for almond and orange cake in last sunday's tribune - if you are interested I can give it to you.

PS; I would say if you tried 45 - 60 mins at 180 degrees C you would not go far wrong. Insert a skewer after 45 mins to check.

i also bought the book for this recipe because I don't eat flour, only to find no recipe.

Can you tell me the recipe, I'll risk guessing th time using the skewer method above.

Thankyou

The recipe for this cake is on the uktvfood.co.uk website. Search under "chefs" to find other Rachel Allen recipes. Rachel suggests cooking this cake for about 1 hour to 1 hour 10 minutes.
Hope this helps.
