Late 1970s hit song and group?

What was the song and who were in this group that had a hit ,I think in 1978 It was something like "Argentine Melody" all instrumental but I think there were some famous artists in the group? dont know!

it was the bbc theme for the 1978 world cup "google" it there have been a few recordings i think dave tanner was one

The act that had the hit was San Jose -Don`t know about famous artists but Andrew Lloyd Webber was behind it

It was San Jose and Rodrigues and called Argentina - The Argentine Melody and was used for BBC's football coverage. And I have a copy of it too !!! How sad !!!
