Is it really as good for you as squeezing the juice out of real lemons?

Is it 99% lemon juice plus a preservative?

well my husbands grandad swears by it, he drinks some every morning, hes 83 and as fit as a fiddle, never been to the doctors in years..............but he is a miserable old so and so though, so maybe it is good for you but everyone else around has to put up with you being and old goat....lol
i think it's heat-treated and probably has ascorbic acid added as an anti-oxidant - either way, it tastes nothing like lemon, if you ask me.
Anything with perservatives in it is not as good as without it.
i've added it to chilled iced water and it's nothing like sliced lemon - it actually tastd quite revolting ut i use the jif juice for baking in leaving over sliced apples so they don't brown, etc
