Not been unlucky enough, but it seems pretty much the only thing that disolves superglue is acetone as found in *most* nail polish remover. You might find it in things like paint thinner and similar substances.

If it's a round key type lock you're probably best off removing the front with a screwdriver and trying to wipe the surfaces with the acetone. If it's the flat key type, something like a nailfile coated in it might well work, albeit slowly.

If she wants in tonight however, maybe time to call a locksmith as acetone can take a while to work, especially trying to apply it this way.

Finally, be careful as acetone isn't the greatest stuff to have on your skin so best washed off afterwards.

Thanks for your help...she's managed to get through a window with the help of a neighbour and his ladder...having the lock changed as we speak as she has a spare. will try soaking it in the acetone when it's off.
Thanks again

No back door. She lives in a flat on the 3rd floor.
Can't help I'm afraid guichard.

Just wondering what possible pleasure those air-heads get from gluing up someone's lock. The naughty-boy-slap-on-the-wrist attitude to the odd one that does get caught does nothing to deter these idiots.
if u can get the locks out boil in a pan of water for awhile that will loosen the glue ..some idiot glued my daughters car locks that was only way we could free them
WD 40 spray use to work for chewing gum and might work
